I logged onto my desktop and i was logged out and it said that my password had to be changed but the email I originally signed up with is not accessible :( tumblr still works in my mobile browser but it won’t allow me to update my email now so this account is fucked. Let be veryyyyyyyyy clear, 99.9999% of residents do not sell crack. Let’s talk about how crack and other drugs were brought into these neighborhoods to bring it down. Driving down property rates so that developers could buy properties for cheap & move in people like you at a higher cost . Let’s not mention that the MAJORITY of hipsters moving into these neighborhoods are DRUG USERS. & they harass you for being in their hood? The place where they grew up? The place you’re trying to change? And move them out of? Let me know when they burn crosses on your yard, or put in place laws that keep you out of these neighborhoods.
The first two comments are how racists justify gentrification. They imagine that black people in dilapidated areas are all just drug dealers and gang members so it doesn’t matter if they push people out of their homes and communities. Racists think it’s better to put money into building cupcake and bike shops than to invest money in these communities I see my beautiful Brooklyn overrun by spoiled racist white people who are comfortable being a part of gentrification for these very racist reasons. And it makes me sick to my stomach
